DRSL's
"DRSL" is an acronym for "Desired Results for Student Learning."
Basically, a DRSL is a skill that the faculty at AMES hopes their students will learn and/or improve, by the time they graduate. AMES is an early-college school, and so focuses heavily on being prepared for college and the workplace. That's why the DRSLs are not only valuable skills in high school, but college and the workplace as well. In fact, they make valuable life skills, school and careers aside.
There are three kinds of DRSLs: 1)Effective Communication, 2)Critical Thinking, and 3)Integration & Application of Knowledge.
